Mission

Alta Community Enrichment (ACE) is a non-profit organization that creates opportunities in the community for individual and group participation in arts, cultural events and education.

ACE WILL:

  • Coordinate programs and opportunities including music, cultural events, education, visual arts, humanities, theater and dance.
  • Provide materials received from art affiliations to local artists in support of grant applications and competitions.
  • Advise the Town council on all matters concerning pending legislation in the arts which concern ACE and the Town of Alta.
  • Network with local and regional presenting arts and cultural organizations in support of collaboration and development of ACE programs.
  • Allocate funding support as appropriate to organizations, agencies, or individuals who can provide enrichment programs or products of quality that are deemed beneficial to the community.
  • Research the community needs of Alta including new or upgraded facilities, developing, updating and evaluating progress of written plans for the growth of ACE.
  • Develop an awareness of the value of ACE in the business community, in local government, and in the general public.
  • Engage in and support other activities that will enhance the community and cultural life of Alta.
  • Assemble and distribute calendars and schedules of events; and compile other materials as appropriate to promote events in Alta.
