wasatch Art Soiree
The ACE Board wanted to create a new and exciting event during the summer that embraced art and the beautiful mountains of Little Cottonwood Canyon. They concocted the Wasatch Art Soiree in 2014~ An evening of inspired engagement that brings creative individuals together by providing a venue for budding artists, chefs and musicians to showcase their talents
5 local artists and 5 local chefs featured at the event that each showcase their favorite works. Throughout the evening guests and artists mingle over delicious creations from local chefs, wine and libations from local breweries. Near the end of the evening, each guest will cast their vote for their favorite artist and chef. Then the votes are tallied and ACE award's the People's Choice Grant of $500 and the Judges Choice Grant of $500 to winning artist & chef at the Soiree

Wasatch Wildflower Festival
The Wildflower Festival started in 1996 by a tight-knit community of friends and was funded by The Alta Lodge. This community wanted to share their beautiful environment, flowers, food, musicians, and Romantic Alta with each other and the rest of the world. Oh and, like always, it was a great party too!
The Wasatch Wildflower Festival is now a collaboration between Alta Community Enrichment, The Cottonwood Canyons Foundation, Alta Ski Area, Solitude Ski Area, Brighton Ski Area, Snowbird Ski and Summer resort and The U.S. Forest Service.
The Festival's goal is to provide a fun and encouraging environment for people to learn about the wide diversity of wildflowers that are found in the Wasatch Mountains as well as the protection of the watershed.
The annual Snowflake Festival is held during March at various locations in Alta. The Snowflake Festival started after many successful years of the local fireman’s chili cook off. This year’s events can be found here.
