Community Center

The Alta Community Center is located at 10351 East Highway 210. This building is owned and operated by the Town of Alta.

It houses the Alta Post office, the ACE and the Alta Vistor's Bureau offices, a historical society exhibit, the Alta Reading Room, a multi-use room, housing for the Town of Alta and storage for UDOT.

The Alta Reading room offers:

  • four internet-accessible computers
  • word processor computer
  • printer available
  • assortment of books
  • current magazines
  • wireless connection for those who bring their own laptops to the center
  • mail-a-book program available to Alta residents.

The multi-use room is located on the second floor of the building. Town council meetings, justice court and various other meetings are held in this space.
