Blood Drive with the American Red Cross

Thursday, July 26th | 10am-2pm | Wildcat Parking Lot

ACE is proud to sponsor a blood drive with the American Red Cross in Alta.

An estimated 38 percent of Americans are eligible to give blood, but of those, less than 10 percent actually donate each year. If you are healthy and eligible, please come out to donate. Let's book your appointment, roll up your sleeve and become a part of the lifesaving mission of the Red Cross and ACE. If you don’t know if you’re eligible, show up to find out. And if you can’t donate blood, we would love to have you as a volunteer at our drive.

Location will be in the GMD parking lot / Wildcat parking lot.

Please remember to do the following on the day of the drive:

Drink an extra 16 ounces of water or nonalcoholic fluids before your donation.

Eat a healthy meal before your donation. Avoid overly fatty foods, such as hamburgers, fries or ice cream.

Get a good night’s sleep the night before.

Enjoy a snack in the refreshment area immediately after donating.

Brag about your accomplishment on your social networks. By sharing your story, you can inspire others to donate and we together can be a part of saving more lives in our community.
